The Emergency Preparedness Workshop will be facilitated by The Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management and is designed to connect individuals in the community who might have a disability or access and functional needs, as well as their families, to the agencies who play a role before, during and after an emergency. Join representatives from Fairfax County Police, Fire, Health, Emergency Preparedness, and other departments and agency partners to learn about different programs, what information is important to share during an emergency and how to be prepared for the unexpected.



Each agency will participate in a panel discussion about what programs and services are offered by their agency. Additionally, each agency will have a community table that families can visit after the discussion to ask more individualized questions.
