April 6 - Empowerment through Assistive technology at Home and in the Workplace
In this presentation, learn how people with disabilities can be empowered to live as independently as possible through state of the art technology.
Presenter: Camille Franco, TravelMate/EmployMate Project Coordinator, The Arc of Northern Virginia
Camille Franco is the Project Coordinator for The Arc of Northern Virginia’s Independent Living Suite. Her work in this project is focused on implementing software in daily use of service providers as well as customizing our visual curriculum to use with individuals with I/DD and collecting data for evaluation from the use of this curriculum throughout Northern Virginia.
These sessions are FREE and designed to help families, siblings, and adults with disabilities interested in learning more about special needs trusts and other tools to consider when developing a plan for the future.
